Grievance Redressal

We take privacy and product-related complaints seriously. This page names our Grievance Officer, explains how to reach them, and the timelines we commit to under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Rule 3(2) of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Working hours: 10:00 – 18:30 IST, Monday to Friday (excluding national holidays).
2. What you can file
- Concerns about how we handle your or your client's personal data.
- Requests to exercise your DPDPA rights — access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent, nomination.
- Reports of content on the platform that violates Indian law or the rights of a third party.
- Account-related disputes (billing, suspension, deletion).
- Suspected security incidents or vulnerability reports — these can also go to security@hisaab.ai.
3. How to file
Send an email to grievance@hisaab.ai (preferred) or a written letter to the postal address above. To help us respond quickly please include:
- Your full name and the email address associated with your account (if any).
- A clear statement of the grievance and the outcome you are seeking.
- Date(s) on which the issue occurred.
- Any supporting documents, screenshots, or URLs.
- If you are reporting on behalf of someone else, evidence of authority to act for them.
4. Our timelines
- Acknowledgement: within 48 hours of receiving your grievance.
- Substantive response / resolution: within 15 days for content-takedown requests; within 30 days for all other grievances, in line with DPDPA §13(3).
- If we need more time: we will tell you why and give a revised date before the deadline expires.
5. Escalation
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may:
- Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.
- Approach the Consumer Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 for service-related disputes.
- Approach the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) for intermediary-related grievances.
6. What we ask of you
Please use this channel in good faith. Filing repeated, vexatious, or threatening complaints, or trying to use the grievance process to coerce commercial outcomes, may result in account suspension and is not protected speech.
